What is a Postpartum Doula?
A postpartum doula provides non-medical support to families as they adjust to life with a new baby in their home. My goal is to show you everything I know to help you feel supported, rested, and more confident as you find your new rhythm.
What services do you offer?
From newborn snuggles to the never-ending baby laundry, I've got you! My services include newborn care, soothing and settling baby, safe sleep practices. Feeding and diapering support, baby laundry, light household tasks related to baby like washing bottle and pump parts. Giving parents time to rest and recharge. I am happy to show you all the things I’ve learned along the way. Every family's needs are different, so my support is tailored to you.
When should I book postpartum support?
The sooner, the better! Many families reach out during pregnancy to plan ahead with our initial consult, but it's never too late to ask about availability. I can help when you're preparing for baby's arrival or once you’re already in the newborn trenches, I'd love to chat.
What is the investment?
My standard rate is $40 per hour, most sessions are in 4 hour blocks with packages available to fit different needs and schedules.
The Little Boost — 12 hours for $480
The Recharge — 20 hours for $800
The Groove — 40 hours for $1,600
The Fourth Trimester BFF — 60 hours for $2,400
You can purchase and find more information on my Services page!
How do I get started?
Easy! Start by booking a complimentary consultation. We'll chat about your family, what kind of support you're looking for, and whether we're a good fit. From there, we can talk scheduling and next steps.
Can I book recurring support?
Absolutely! Consistent support can make a big difference during those early weeks. I can be the break you need to get through another sleepless night. Scheduling depends on availability, so let's connect and find a plan that works for your family.
Do you help with household tasks?
Yes! A little help around the house can go a long way. I can assist with baby laundry, organizing baby essentials, and light household tasks related to your newborn. I am happy to empty the dishwasher or wash and sanitize bottle and pump parts while baby sleeps or eats. My focus is on helping make your transition into life with baby feel a little less overwhelming.
Do you provide medical advice or lactation services?
My services focus on non-medical newborn care and postpartum support. I'm not a substitute for your healthcare provider or a qualified lactation professional, but have some really great friends who are. I'm happy to help you find appropriate resources when needed.
What areas do you serve?
I am located in Plymouth and provide in-home newborn care and postpartum support on the South Shore and Upper Cape. Reach out with your location, and I'll let you know if I can make it to you!
Bourne, Carver, Cohasset, Duxbury, Halifax, Hanover, Hanson, Hingham, Hull, Kingston, Marshfield, Mashpee, Norwell, Pembroke, Plymouth, Plympton, Rockland, Sandwich, Scituate, Whitman,
What if my due date changes?
Babies have their own timelines, don't they? If your due date or plans change, just let me know as soon as possible. We'll discuss scheduling adjustments based on availability and the terms of your booking agreement.
What if I don’t know exactly what kind of help I’ll need?
That's completely okay! You don't need to have it all figured out before reaching out. Sometimes you just know you could use an extra set of hands or someone to help around the house. We'll talk through what's going on and figure out what kind of support makes the most sense for your family.
Still have questions?
I love questions! No question is too small, and you don't have to figure it all out alone. Let's connect and talk about how I can help make this season a little lighter.
